Silicone

Silicone resins are inorganic polymer material consist of an inorganic silicon-oxygen backbone chain with organic side groups attached to silicon atoms. Silicones have low viscosity that makes them easy to use. After curing, they change into flexible polymers.

Silicones exhibit many useful characteristics, including low thermal conductivity, electrical insulation properties, low chemical reactivity, low toxicity, thermal stability (constancy of properties over a wide temperature range), resistance to water, oxygen, ozone, and ultraviolet (UV) light. These properties have led to widespread use of silicones in various  industries.

Mandegar Baspar Fajr Asia supply two types of  these resins: RTV (Room-Temperature-Vulcanized) silicone and HTV (High-Temperature-Vulcanized) silicone. These silicones need to catalyst for curing. In casting and mold-making, RTV silicone rubber reproduces fine details and is suitable for a variety of industrial and art-related applications including prototypesfurnituresculpture, and architectural elements.
